University of Groningen student in final of national Student Entrepreneur competition

Groningen student Jordy Oosterveld is in the final of the national Student Entrepreneur competition 2013. The Master’s student of Small Business and Entrepreneurship has been nominated for his direct sales company Fonky Sales, which recruits subscribers for national newspapers. The company, founded in 2011, has fifty employees in Groningen. A new branch was recently opened in Utrecht.
The final of the sixth edition of the Student Entrepreneur competition will be on 5 September in Theater Diligentia in The Hague. Oosterveld will face competition from three student entrepreneurs from Amsterdam and one from Enschede. First prize will be presented by entrepreneur and presentor Jort Kelder.
