New Unifocus, this week: Discovering new medicines, Economics of local government and Building a sod house

The new Unifocus, the video magazine of the University of Groningen, is online.

This week:

• Discovering new medicines. Rubicon grant winner Marnix Medema on his research
• Economics of Local Government. The Centre for Research on Local Government (COELO) studies the financial aspects of Dutch municipalities, provinces and water boards.
• Building with sods. The University of Groningen Institute for Archaeology and the Yeb Hettinga Museum are building a reconstruction of an ancient Frisian sod house.

Each episode of the weekly online video magazine Unifocus includes three items related to the University of Groningen, in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
