Public Lecture by Prof. Jan Luiten van Zanden from Utrecht University

On 13 May Professor Jan Luiten van Zanden from Utrecht University will be our next guest lecturer in the Maddison Lecture series in Economic History and Development. The topic of this lecture will be: "The Conquest of Our Economic Past; The Search for the Origins of Modern Economic Growth".

Jan Luiten van Zanden holds the honorary Maddison chair at the university of Groningen. He is the author of serveral books in the field of Economic History. Professor Van Zanden's visit marks the first release of the new updated Maddison data set making this a very special Maddison Lecture. So we look forward to your support of this event.
