Hello! My dear fellow Chinese schoolmates, do you feel bored sometimes? Do you feel lonely sometimes? Do you want to make more friends? Do you want to expand your network in the Dutch society? Who is CEGF?

China-Europe Growth Foundation is the leading platform where international Chinese talent and organizations will find knowledge and inspiration. We improve the employability of Chinese speaking talent. We connect highly educated Chinese speaking talent and organizations.

What?

China Europe Growth Foundation Groningen Team has started a Volunteer Programme. Currently it is organizing5 volunteer projects for the Groningen community. Specifically, these voluntary jobs are for Noordelijk Scheepvaart-museum (Ship Museum), Santelli Circus, Nieuwe Kerk (Church), Dignis (Nursing & Senior Citizens House), and the Vinkhuizen Community where we are organizing a Chinese evening and meal.

On top of that, we are adding more projects so that you can have more options. We believe that there must be one of the diverse choices fitting you.

Plus for your CV

Why would you want to do volunteer work? A simple reason, because voluntary work is becoming a part of entry requirements of international or multinational companies. This kind of experience is definitely a plus in your CV. Besides, certain voluntary work experience which is relevant to your study even can be included in work experience.Apart from these, doing voluntary work for the Dutch community is a useful way of getting to know the Dutch customs, becoming involved in the Dutch culture and working with Dutch organizations. Last but not least, this is a crucial method of expanding your social network in the Netherlands.

Current needs

Furthermore, we need a few Chinese art student talents for the Spring Market at Vinkhuizen community, which is close to Zernike Complex. China Europe Growth Foundation has a stand on the Spring Market. We provide this opportunity not only to be involved with the community but also to show your talents and also make some money by selling your art work.This is on Saturday 2nd, June.

We are also looking for a number of Chinese students doing a medical study to join our team at an event on 8th, June, in the afternoon. The theme is ‘ China is closer by than you think: Thinking about exploring this market?’ A group of innovative pharmaceutical companies in Groningen will be present.
