Asia-Europe Rectors’ Conference: registration open for Student Forum

01 June 2012

Registration is now open for the Student Forum of the third ASEM Rectors’ Conference, to be held in Groningen on 24 September. ASEM stands for Asia Europe Meeting and is organized by the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF). This is an informal platform for dialogue and interaction between Asian and European countries, at all levels. The Asean University Network and the University of Groningen are co-organizing the event in September.

Students are invited to join the stakeholders’ process, at a meeting that takes place just before the Rectors’ Conference. As part of the efforts to integrate student participation within the ASEM education process, the conference partners are launching the first Asia-Europe Student Forum themed Are you Fit for the Future? Student leaders (undergraduate or postgraduate) from 46 ASEM countries will have the opportunity to contribute to the ASEM education process through their participation in the 1-day Student Forum.
