In the morning of 18 November we received the sad news that IB&M student Miron Filipovic, who went missing in Nottingham (UK) since the weekend, has died, as reported by Nottingham police. Miron had been on an international exchange at Nottingham Trent University since September as part of his study International Business and Management at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Groningen.

On behalf of the Faculty, the Faculty Board extends deep sympathy to the family and friends of Miron. A memorial space is made available at the Faculty where students, staff and those close to him can gather and sign a book of condoleances: the "Meeting Studio" (5411-0007) in the plaza of the Duisenberg Building of the FEB. It's open until the public memorial service.
Miron's fellow students can contact their study advisor should they feel the need to do so.

The FEB Study Abroad Fair of 18 November, where students could have received information about the possibility of spending a study period abroad was cancelled because of Miron's passing away. The fair  has been postponed until Thursday 2 December.
