Maxim Mostovoy benoemd tot adjunct-hoogleraar Theory of condensed matter

Bij het Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials van de Faculteit Wiskunde en Natuurwetenschappen is per 1 februari 2010 dr. M.M. Mostovoy benoemd tot adjunct-hoogleraar Theory of condensed matter. Mostovoy (Rusland, 1963) is sinds 1998 als onderzoeker verbonden aan het Materialen Studie Centrum van de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.

Maxim Mostovoy studeerde nucleaire fysica aan de Novosibirsk State University en promoveerde in 1998 aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Van 1985-1998 was hij onderzoeker bij het Budker Institute in Novosibirsk. Van 1998-2004 was hij aan de RUG postdoc-onderzoeker en daarna een jaar visiting scientist bij het Max Planck-Intitut für Festkörperforschung in Stuttgart, Duitsland. Daarna keerde hij weer terug naar Groningen.
