Film about Prof. Jan Pen available online: The influence of Keynes on his ideas
Early this year, the media mistakenly announced the death of Prof. Jan Pen, emeritus professor of Economics. The Dutch broadcasting company VPRO has now decided to make a film about him available via the internet. The film was originally made for the Noorderlicht documentary series. The current economic crisis has given rise to a renewed interest in the work of Keynes, who greatly influences Pen’s ideas.
The 1996 film, directed by Eugene Paashuis, was made in cooperation with Steven Brakman and Harry Garretsen of the Faculty of Economics and Business.
