Largest student conference of the Netherlands in Groningen
Students of the Economische en Bedrijfskundige Faculteitvereniging Groningen (EBF) have partnered with the Faculty of Economics and Business to organise the largest student conference of the Netherlands. On Thursday the 1st and Friday the 2nd of October this already renowned, two-day conference will take place.
The conference is the perfect opportunity for students to broaden their horizons, listen to the insights of experts and professionals and delve into economic and business affairs in an interesting and exciting way. It’s the ideal chance to escape the text books and chat with top CEO’s, professors and experts.
The theme of the conference this year is “Today’s Challenges, Tomorrow’s Opportunities: Meeting the Challenges caused by Globalisation”. This theme delves into four engaging sub-themes: increasing competition, the role of emerging markets, energy and sustainable growth. Through the years, globalization has presented the world with several major challenges, the current recession being one of them. Now governments and corporations have the task to find innovating solutions to these challenges and convert them into opportunities. Leading CEOs and professors will enlighten participants on their thoughts to this theme.
