Results 2009 University Elections: two FEB-students chosen in the University Council and a new Faculty Council for FEB
Student Technology Management Leendert Kalfsbeek (faction 'Lijst Calimero’) and student International Economics & Business Jolien Geerdink (faction ‘Studenten Organisatie Groningen’) are chosen in the University Council of the RuG. Both students were also the nr.1’s on the candidate-lists of their party. Kalfsbeek was elected with 390 votes and Geerdink with 1205 votes (see election results University Council). Unfortunately, FEB-staffmembers who were candidate for the University Council were not elected.
In the Academic Year 2009-2010, renewal also finds its way to the Faculty Council of FEB. Six council seats went to student faction SFEB and three to Newcademy. As for the FEB-staff in the Faculty Council, the first nine staffmembers on the list were chosen (see elections Faculty Council FEB). 34,05% of all students voted in this faculty council election and 42,96% of all FEB-staff.
