Four FEB economists in Top 40 Best Dutch Economists 2008
Four economists of the Faculty of Economics and Business made it to the yearly ranking of "the 40 best Dutch economists" in ESB magazine (Economic Statistical Messages): prof.dr. Peter Verhoef, prof.dr. Onne Janssen, prof.dr. Gerben van der Vegt and dr. Helena Nusse.
Every year, the ESB publishes a ranking of the 40 best Dutch economists, according to their scientific performance in the past few years.
ESB ranking
The ESB ranking is based on the amount and importance of international scientific publications by the participants in a particular period. The ranking started in 1980. Over the years, the ranking has gained significant importance among economists.
