Gudrun Koch winner of poster prize Early Summer Meeting GUIDE, June 5th 2008

On June 5th the Early Summer Meeting, organized by GUIDE, UMCG, Groningen took place. Main theme of the meeting was Ageing.

Part of this Meeting was a poster presentation. 24 Participants were invited to discuss their subject in a 10 minutes’ oral presentation in one of the parallel sessions. The posters were judged on (a) scientific value, (b) structure, (c) is the abstract interesting for PhDs from other GUIDE disciplines, (d) registration of results and data.

Winner of the poster prize of the Early Summer Meeting was Gudrun Koch, PhD student at the department of Pharmaceutical Biology. Her poster entitled "PvdQ: an acylase with multiple functions" has been awarded with an amount of €1500,- to visit an International Conference.
