Royal Honour for Bram van Dam
Bram van Dam, head of the Financial department of the Faculty, has been honoured as "Member of the Order of Orange-Nassau" (Lid in de Orde van Oranje-Nassau) on the recommendation of football club De Fivel in Zeerijp. Last Friday, Van Dam received his decoration from the mayor of Loppersum, Albert Rodenboog.
For decades, Van Dam has been active as a volunteer for De Fivel in various roles, including treasurer, secretary and chairman. In his speech, the mayor particularly stressed his important role in the establishment of the new club house. In addition, to Van Dam's activities for De Fivel, he was also active in the Reformed Church of 't Zandt and in various other positions in the social sphere.
