August 22-24: Marketing Dynamics Conference in Groningen
The fourth international Marketing Dynamics Conference will be held at the University of Groningen, from Wednesday August 22nd, through Friday, August 24th. It provides a setting for academic researchers interested in marketing dynamics to meet and discuss research in this area, exchange ideas, and engage in collaborative work.
The organizing committee consists of the Groningen scientists: Tammo Bijmolt, Peter Leeflang, Jenny van Doorn, and Peter Verhoef. The Marketing Dynamics Conference builds on previous conferences hosted by the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth University, the University of California, Davis, and the University of California, Los Angeles. With around 80 participants from marketing science and marketing industry, the conference promises to offer an excellent platform to discuss dynamic phenomena in marketing.
Program 2007
The conference begins on Wednesday with a workshop for PhD students and other junior researchers on Dynamic Linear Models. The conference program commences on Thursday with a keynote address by Dominique Hanssens (University of California, Los Angeles). Research presentations and discussion sessions will be held on Thursday and Friday followed by discussions.
The topics will focus on marketing phenomena involving dynamic outcomes, actions, or processes. Next to the methodological aspects of studying marketing dynamics, there will be a focus on empirical studies on marketing dynamics, e.g. on market entry, dynamics in customer relationships, or dynamics in the marketing mix.
