Prof. Dietzenbacher Guest Professor at Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing

With a short ceremony on Friday June 15, Prof. Erik Dietzenbacher has been appointed as Guest Professor at the School of Management of the Graduate University, ChineseAcademy of Sciences (CAS), Beijing, China. On behalf of the School of Management, Prof. Tong Rencheng and Prof. Zhao Hong attended the ceremony and presented the official document of appointment.
This appointment is a further step in strengthening the cooperation between our faculties and CAS. Dietzenbacher was in Beijing last week to teach a course on “Advanced Topics in Input-Output Economics” and to give a seminar for PhD students of the GraduateUniversity on “Writing Papers and Publishing in Journals”. His stay was partly financed by the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Science through the China Exchange Programme as part of joint research project.
In the first week of July, another colleague from our faculties, Prof. Ruud Koning, also will visit CAS to teach a course on Econometrics.
