Open guest lecture Henk Kesler of the KNVB on Sport Economics
Today Henk Kesler, the President of the professional football department of the KNVB, gave an open guest lecture for the course Sport Economics by prof Ruud Koning. This course analyses developments and situations in the world of sport from an economic point of view.
Henk Kesler covered topics brought up by students, like: Football competitions for women, the top class in football, football rights and the play-offs.
After his study in Dutch Law at the University of Groningen, Henk Kesler was a lawyer at different law firms. Additionally, he was the secretary and vice-chairman of FC Twente and in 2004 he became board member of the foundation KNVB / Cruijff Courts.
