PhD research: 'Strategies and organizational structures by Turkish commercial banks'
Binnur Kibriscikli-Özçandarli’s research involves an analysis of issues concerning organizational structure and organizational change in the banking sector. The empirical part of the study focuses mainly on the strategies and organizational structures implemented by Turkish commercial banks in the past and the present.

Binnur Kibriscikli-Özçandarli (Turkey, 1967) studied Business Studies (MBA) at the University of North Carolina. This research was conducted at the SOM research school. She will be awarded her PhD on 13 November (13.15h) by the Faculty of Management and Organization. Her supervisors are prof.dr. A. Sorge and prof.dr. B Üsdiken. The title of her thesis is The paradox of isomorphic changes and strategic differentiation in Turkish banking.
