Introduction Day Art History

The BA programme Art History officially starts with the Introduction Day, in which you will get the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the programme and the supporting organization, but also meet the staff, your teacher-mentor, your first-year work group and the student mentors. The Introduction Day will be concluded with an activity that is organized in collaboration with our study association IK.

You will split into your mentor groups and head towards the event for the day

Museum Event
Your mentor will take you into the university museum for a tour, where you also get an opportunity to meet with the Arts, Culture and Media first-year students. This tour will last for about an hour, but you can stay for however long you like.

City Tour
You will meet up at the Harmonie Building with your mentor, where you will get a free lunch (please sign up!), after which your mentor will take you on a tour of the city centre, taking you past important landmarks and places that might be useful during your time in the city. This tour will take about an hour.

Pub Crawl
Your mentor will take you on a pubcrawl: a tour through the city, hopping from bar to bar, after which all of the mentor groups will meet up again at a final location for the last rounds of drinks. This will last until approximately 23:00-00:00, and you have to pay for your own drinks. |
