AI Parade: installations, workshops, films and documentaries on Artificial Intelligence

10 February 2023

Artificial intelligence or 'AI' has become an integral part of our existence. But what exactly is AI and what do we want and can we do with it? Immerse yourself, engage in conversation and participate in a playful programme with films, theatre, workshops, installations, walk-ins and a real Starry AI Bingo! From 3 to 26 February 2023.

Some of the activities:

What the future wants (expositie)

In this small exhibition, you will discover the secret life behind the screens you use every day. For example, how many people does it take to make a smartphone? And what makes an app addictive?

Everyday Intelligence

Do you know what Artificial Intelligence (AI) is all used for? Find out during the AI parade! At Muzus' installation 'Everyday Intelligence', you will find everyday situations, and learn how AI is already being used here now, or can be used in the future.

AI café: healthcare and AI

What role will AI play in the future, and what role is it already playing now. In this approachable and interactive AI café, we highlight the relationship between artificial intelligence and healthcare from different angles and you can get your questions and concerns from different experts.

Starry AI Bingo

Come play bingo and see if you can manage to match the images to the instruction the AI has been working on. Taking part is free and the prizes will make you want to have them! During the Starry-AI Bingo, we will spin the bingo wheel on our way to prizes, but we will also look for answers to the question: Is there a future for AI art, and which one?

The AI Parade is a collaboration with the Koninklijke Bibliotheek, AI Hub Noord-Nederland and the Nederlandse AI Coalitie. It is a nationwide programme taking place from Friday 3 to Sunday 26 February in Forum Groningen, locations Nieuwe Markt and Haren.
