Open pedagogy values: Participatory knowledge

Knowledge is not viewed as complete, unchanging, or determined solely by traditional authorities. This process thrives on a participatory culture that leverages the social participatory web for networked learning, transforming education into a dynamic process of socialization and interactivity. By engaging with a community and contributing their insights to the public realm, learners shift from passive consumers to active producers, adding value to the world through information collaboration and exchange. This values the intellectual contributions of all participants, positioning collaboration between developers and peers as the cornerstone of meaningful, socially-connected education.
