Closure of P1 on Zernike Campus at start construction Feringa Building

Contractor Ballast Nedam will start the first building activities for the Feringa Building on Zernike Campus in July 2019. As a consequence there will be a few closures:

Closure parking area P1

As of 13 May 2019, the east part of the parking area (P1 East) will be closed and the west part (P1 West) will be closed from 1 June 2019. On this terrain the Feringa Building will be built, which, after the most recent changes, has been moved 80 metres to the south.

FSE staff is advised to use P4. This parking area is situated behind the Willem Alexander Sports center. Please, see the map below.

Closure access road south side Nijenborgh 4 (logistics square)

After closing P1, the road (Nijenborgh) from the Zernikelaan to P1 and the rear of Nijenborgh, will only be accessible for building traffic and freight transportation.

Access building 5117 closed

After setting up the construction site, the area between building 5116 and 5118 (south side) of Nijenborg 4 will no longer be accessible. The present entrance to building 5117 (ramp) will then be closed and can only be used as emergency exit.
