Work next to the Sports Centre
The University of Groningen and Hanze are going to build a new Sports Centre on the Zernike Campus. This new building will be constructed next to the current Sports Centre. Construction will start in early 2026.
The site next to the current Sports Centre is being prepared for construction. Due to the construction work taking place here, accessing the site is prohibited until Friday 21 November 2025. See the map below for the area concerned.
Signs will be posted on site indicating that the area is inaccessible. We ask everyone to take this into account and to observe safety regulations.
