Closure of Blauwborgje: Caution, traffic disruption!
Update May 2025: Unfortunately, the work is taking a little longer than hoped. Blauwborgje is expected to remain closed to through traffic until 25 July 2025.
Over the next few years, the UG will connect various buildings on the Zernike Campus to WarmteStad's sustainable heat network. WarmteStad does their best to carry out the work with as little inconvenience as possible, but unfortunately they cannot always prevent this. From 31 March to 30 June, part of Blauwborgje on the Zernike Campus will be closed to through traffic. Please read this information carefully so that you are well prepared and can reach your destination on the Campus without too much trouble.
Closure
Blauwborgje will be closed to through traffic, near the Van Olstborg and football club Forward (see image below). The footpath along Blauwborgje will remain accessible. You can also walk along here with your bicycle in hand.

Detours by car
By car, you will already be diverted from the ring road. Follow the diversion route on the yellow signs. The map below shows the diversions route.
-
Car parks P0 and P2 are only accessible from the south side of the Zernike Campus
-
Car parks P3, P4 and P6 can only be reached via the north side of the Zernike Campus (diversions via Professor Uilkensweg)

Want to know more? Or do you have a specific question?
Are there any personal circumstances that need to be taken into account while carrying out the work? Or do you have other questions? Please contact WarmteStad on 050 - 368 87 00 or email klantenservice@warmtestad.nl. They will be happy to look at a solution together.
