Schedule and specializations

Shopkeepers

The employees of the Methodology shop are student assistants hired by the faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences who work one afternoon per week and sometimes mornings (check the schedule!). At this moment, our employees are Jannis Kreienkamp (ReMa Social and Organizational Psychology), René de Vries (ReMa Clinical and Psychosocial Epidemiology), Katarzyna (Kalina) Kordynska (Ma Clinical Psychology), Max Agostini (ReMa Behavioural and Social Sciences), and Esther van Zessen (Ma Talent Development & Creativity), who is also the coordinator of the Methodology shop. The supervision of the Methodology shop is carried out by staff member Don van Ravenzwaaij. If you are interested to work at the Methodology shop, please contact Don van Ravenzwaaij. Do not contact him for any statistical or methodological questions you might have. In that case, vist the Methodology shop personally or post your question online (asking in English increases your chance of a speedy response!).

Specializations

All our student assistants are familiar with relatively simple techniques such as non-parametric tests, An(c)ova, regression analysis, reliability analysis and programs suchs as SPSS and G*Power. However, not all our employees are able to help with advanced topics such as Manova, Multilevel analysis and Factor analysis or if you are using programs such as R (studio) or MLwiN. If you suspect that you use a complicated technique, a special methodology or a little known program, please check which of our employees is able to support you. Using the subjoined schedule, you can find when s/he is working and visit the right person directly. If your subject is not listed, you can call us (050 - 363 61 90) and ask who might be able to support you.

Schedule

The Methodology shop is opened every monday through friday from 13:00 until 17:00 with the staff members according to the schedule below. As of November 2016, some days the shop is opened from 9:00 until 13:00 as well. The openings in the morning can differ, please check the schedule below! After each name, it is indicated who speaks at least Dutch. We are closed during Christmas holiday and in the summer period (July - mid September) we are opened two days a week, typically Tuesday and Thursday. In busy time, students of the BSS faculty will receive precedence! In practice, this means that in busy times students from other faculties will have to solve their problems with help of their own faculty.
