As a student at the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences, you use various online applications, such as the Student Portal, the Schedule Generator, the Course Catalog, and Progress. Below you will find explanations on how to use these applications.
Student portal
Course catalog and enrolling in coursess
In the Ocasys course catalog, you can find information about all the courses offered at the University of Groningen. Additionally, you use Ocasys to enroll in courses. Ocasys is accessible via ocasys.rug.nl and through the Student Portal in Brightspace: UG Tools → Course Catalog and Enrollments (Ocasys).

Schedule generator
On rooster.rug.nl you can find events that are happening at the UG. You can search for courses, programmes, locations, and specific buildings.
Additionaly you can add activities to your own timetable. This is your personal calendar with your activities such as your tutorials and lectures.
You can edit your timetable and export it to your own calendar with iCal.

Viewing exam results
In Progress, you can view your exam results. Use your RUG login name and password for this.

RUG Maps
With RUG Maps, you can find your way around all UG buildings, including lecture halls, facilities, and accessibility information.
Enter the building, room number or lecture hall name, and the app will immediately show you the route.
