As a student at the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences, you use various online applications, such as the Student Portal, the Schedule Generator, the Course Catalog, and Progress. Below you will find explanations on how to use these applications.
Student portal
Progress: enrolling in courses, checking exam results
To enroll in a course, go to the Student Portal, then to UG tools, and select Grades and Enrollments.
You can also go directly to Progress at https://progressportaal.nl/rug. Use your
UG username and password.
In Progress, you can register for courses, view your exam results, check your enrollment status, and view your personal information.

Schedule generator
On rooster.rug.nl you can find events that are happening at the UG. You can search for courses, programmes, locations, and specific buildings.
Additionaly you can add activities to your own timetable. This is your personal calendar with your activities such as your tutorials and lectures.
You can edit your timetable and export it to your own calendar with iCal.
