Women in FSE event
Women in FSE 2024 took place on the 18th November. The event, organized by tenure-track assistant professors at ENTEG, Bahar Haghighat and Dulce M. Morales, and sponsored by WISE and FSE, consisted of two panel discussions and a brainstorm session with the aim of identifying measures that can be implemented or improved to support female students and staff at FSE.
The panelists included Jacquelien Scherpen, Anastasia Borschevsky, Sabeth Verpoorte, Anouk Lubbe, Rachel van der Kaaij, Marzia Nuzzolo, Laura Comprido, and Annerieke de Vos, with the discussions being moderated by Elisabetta Chicca, Petra Rudolf and Eva Teuling. An afternoon of open and constructive conversations led to a collection of ideas to be presented to the faculty board in a report to inform actions and policies promoting equality and diversity.
