Honorary professor Van Roon awarded Senior Jan Glerum Education Prize
Prof. Eric van Roon (PharmacoTherapy, -Epidemiology, and -Therapeutics) has been awarded the Senior Jan Glerum Prize by the Education Committee of the NVZA (Netherlands Association of Hospital Pharmacists).
The prize recognizes Van Roon’s valuable contributions to the education of both MSc Pharmacy students at the University of Groningen and hospital pharmacy residents nationwide. He is praised for his relaxed, convincing and enthusiastic teaching style, as well as for his dedication to improve the education and continued professional development of (hospital) pharmacists. The extent of the recognition was emphasised by a unanimous jury verdict.
