Regular courses at the Faculty of Spatial Sciences

All courses at the Faculty of Spatial Sciences are offered in English. Many of these courses are available to visiting exchange students, although certain restrictions apply. Some courses, most commonly courses at the Master's level, have (very) restricted capacity (degree-seeking students at the Faculty of Spatial Sciences are prioritized); some courses have entry requirements. Always, students should be able to take courses in their regular format, including the regular exam dates/times in Groningen. Courses taught at the MSc (Master’s) level are only available for students that can submit a photocopy of a BSc (Bachelor's) diploma.

Exchange students enrolled at other Faculties of the University of Groningen can take, in each semester, not more than 10 EC worth of courses at the Faculty of Spatial Sciences (upon approval by the International Office).

Course information, lecture dates and times and exam dates and times are subject to change. Most courses run in the teaching weeks of the semester block specified in the left column.

The course "Spatial Problems and Spatial Policies: The Dutch Experience" that is offered exclusively to visiting exchange students, as a compulsory course for exchange students, is included in the overview.
