Eligible candidates: |
- Roberto Rocca Fellowships are open to students who are citizens of Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Romania
- and who will enter a Master’s program outside their own country.
- Application of citizens of these countries living in other countries may be accepted too.
- Fellowships are awarded on the basis of the student’s academic and professional accomplishments, leadership potential and commitment to the economic and industrial advancement of his or her home country.

Grant information: |
- Fellowships are awarded for a period of a year and at the discretion of the Roberto Rocca Education Program, fellowships may be renewed for up to an additional year.
- The award amount will depend on the candidate’s financial need and may be used for tuition, fees and living expenses. But in general Fellowships do not cover all expenses and candidates are encouraged to seek complementary sources of funding.
- Fellows are selected by the Program's Scientific Committee comprising senior managers of the sponsoring companies.
- The program reflects the long-standing commitment of the late Roberto Rocca and the sponsoring companies to supporting education at all levels in countries where the sponsoring companies have a major presence.
Purposes: Fellowships to help fund studies towards a Master’s degree in specific fields of study that include Materials Science, Mechanical and Petroleum Engineering, at a university of the student's choosing outside his/her home country.

In selecting Roberto Rocca Fellows the Scientific Committee evaluates candidates in accordance with the following criteria:
- previous professional and academic experience;
- designated university and department for Master’s studies;
- commitment to the economic and industrial development of home country;
- demonstrate capacity to successfully carry out the proposed project.
