Grant information:

Purposes: The purpose of the foundation is primarily to support research work related to equipment and methods in Finland, in medicine, technical and natural sciences, as well as economic research in these fields. The foundation can also support other high-level medical, natural science and technological basic research that promotes the purpose of the foundation.

Programmes: full-time DD PhD in Finland and in Groningen in medicine, technical and natural sciences, as well as economic research in these fields

Available positions:

217 grant applications with a total of 4.4 million euros were submitted for dissertation work.

Deadline:

The call will be announced in June with announcements in industry magazines, on the websites of universities and colleges, and on the website of the Science Foundation. Grants can be applied for from 30 May to 31 August. When the distribution of grants has been decided in the first half of January, information will be sent to the applicants shortly after this, and the grants will be announced at a celebration event in March.
