Must hold a PhD or equivalent by the time of fellowship start. Must propose an interdisciplinary project with:
Prior stay at EMBL or the proposed partner institution must not exceed 12 months in the 3 years before application deadline. |

Purposes: To train and support early-career researchers pursuing interdisciplinary, self-designed projects that contribute to Europe's diverse research landscape and prepare fellows for leadership in academia, industry, or beyond. Programs: Life sciences, computational biology, data science, molecular biology, structural biology, cell biology, neurobiology, environmental biology, microbial ecosystems, planetary biology, biomedical engineering. Grant information: Successful fellows receive an initial contract for 3 years and may stay at EMBL for a total of 5 years. Details of work contracts:
