Additional information

Eligible candidates:

Junior faculty members (e.g., lecturer, assistant professor, group leader, principal investigator) within five years of setting up their first lab/research group, working in experimental biology related to animal comparative physiology or biomechanics.

Grant information:

The fellowship provides up to £3,000 (or equivalent in local currency) for travel, accommodation, and subsistence costs for the visiting early-career researcher for a duration of one to three months. Research costs are not covered; applicants must already have full funding for their research project.

Purposes: To support junior faculty in hosting an early-career researcher to execute a defined research project.

Application:

The application form and all supporting documents must be completed in English, and letters of support must be on institutional headed paper and signed.

- The total amount requested should not exceed £3,000.

- Expenses include travel, accommodation, subsistence and visa fees. Travel insurance costs should not be included in the expenses.
