CRI Irvington Postdoctoral Fellowship

• Hold a doctoral degree by the start date of the fellowship.
• Be working on projects directly related to immunology or cancer immunology.
• Conduct research under a sponsor with a formal appointment (assistant professor or higher) at the host institution.
• Have less than five years of relevant postdoctoral experience (excluding clinical residency for M.D.s).
• Not have spent three or more years in the sponsor's laboratory by the fellowship start date, except in exceptional circumstances.
• Ensure that only one fellow per sponsor applies per application round, and that a sponsor does not have more than three CRI-supported fellows simultaneously.

Purposes: To foster the training and development of young scientists in the fields of immunology and cancer immunology, aiming to advance research that contributes to solving cancer-related challenges.

Programs: Immunology or cancer immunology

• Duration: Up to 3 years.
• Stipend: $74,000 for the first year, $76,000 for the second year, and $78,000 for the third year.
• Institutional Allowance: $5,000 per year for the host institution to support the fellow's research supplies, travel to scientific meetings, health insurance, and/or childcare.
• Additional Support: CRI provides additional support for fellows to attend CRI’s annual International Cancer Immunotherapy Conference (CICON) and to participate in CRI’s Bioinformatics Bootcamp.
