Detailed information can be found in: CONACyT Programmes: Several programmes are supported by CONACyT. The priority lies on the ones that have a collaboration agreement with CONACyT, which are listed in next link: https://www.conacyt.gob.mx/images/Becas/Convenios_de_Colaboracion_Enero_2020.pdf However, any other high-quality programme can also be supported. There are priority areas, which are preferred over others, which are related with the region of the country from which the fellowship is being submitted. CONACyT offers grants per regions in Mexico, as well as in collaboration with specific states, such as the grant CONACyT-I2T2, which is only available for persons that were born or are living in the state of Nuevo Leon. Additionally, CONACyT also offers more specialized grants, for example, SENER-CONACYT, which focus on candidates pursuing a programmee related to energy sustainability. |

CONACyT supports up to 60 months for PhD degree when candidate does not have a Master degree, up to 48 months when candidate has a Master degree; up to 24 months for Master degree. In general, CONACyT offers an monthly support that varies per country. In Europe, the amount consists in a monthly payment to PhD students of 1 090 euros when single, and 1 362 euros when married. Also, includes a partial insurance support of at least 715 USD, which increases with the number of economically dependent persons. For tuition, it can cover up to 300 000 MXN per year. |
