OnderwijsFor parentsPractical information

Most students live in shared apartments (so-called student houses) with other students which are rented privately. Finding a room can be difficult in the beginning and students should start looking actively about three months before the start of the semester in September. Prospective students are advised to look on a variety of different websites when searching due to the high demand for student rooms during this period of the year.

The Housing Office also provides furnished student rooms in dormitories for the first six or twelve months. These international student houses are distributed all over the city and living in one is considered a nice opportunity to meet fellow students from all over the world. Interested students should visit the website of the SSH to obtain more information on their room offers.
