General end level requirement
For an equivalent level of the Dutch pre-university diploma (VWO) you will need the following:
National Senior Certificate (NSC) with:
-
7 examination courses
-
an overall average result of 70% (the courses Life Orientation and Mathematical Literacy are not included in the calculation of average result)
-
1 Independent Examinations Board (IEB) Advanced Programme Certificate in Mathematics, Physics or English, with a result of at least 55%
OR 1 IEB Further Studies (Certificate) in Mathematics, Physics or English, with a result of at least 55%
