Meet the Mayor 2019
On Wednesday October 16 all new international student in Leeuwarden were invited to a very special event in the City Hall of Leeuwarden: Meet the Mayor! During this evening they got to meet Sybrand van Haersma Buma, the brand new mayor of Leeuwarden. On behalf of the city he officially welcomed the international students as new inhabitants of Leeuwarden, after which they enjoyed a city tour and dinner together. The event was organized by Leeuwarden Student City as a way for international students to get to know the city, meet other students and make new connections.
