PhD defence of Oke Dimas Asmara

On Thursday 24th September 2026, Oke will defend his PhD thesis titled "Closing the Gap in Lung Cancer Care Disparities Through Innovation" in public at the Auditorium of the Beurs, Campus Fryslân, University of Groningen (Wirdumerdijk 34, Leeuwarden).

Here is the schedule for the day:

• 10:00 - Walk-in
• 10:30 - Layman’s talk
• 11:00 - PhD defence

If you plan to attend the defence, please be present by 11:00 am because, once proceedings commence, the doors will be closed, and further entry will not be permitted.

Reception at Campus Fryslân
Following the defence, you are invited to join a reception at the main hall of the Beurs, Campus Fryslân, where you can congratulate Oke whilst enjoying some drinks and light refreshments. This reception will last from approximately 12:15 pm until 13:15 pm.
