DSS: Parent & caregivers session

Wanneer:ma 18-05-2026 03:30 - 04:30Waar:Online

Choosing a university is an important milestone, for both young people and their families. At this stage, your child may be navigating many questions: Is university the right step? What should I study? How does life abroad work?
Starting university is a major transition that brings new academic expectations, social environments and living arrangements.

As a parent or caregiver, you play a crucial role in supporting your child through decisions about their future. Your guidance can help them identify a programme that aligns with their interests, strengths and ambitions.

We invite you to join our Parent & Caregivers Session, 18 May - 3:30 pm (CET), designed specifically to:

  • Introduce the Data Science & Society (DSS) programme

  • Explain the academic environment, support and student well-being systems

  • Present graduates' stories and career pathways

  • Provide practical information on admissions, visas and finances

  • Offer insights on student life in Leeuwarden and the Netherlands in general

The session will be hosted by our Admissions Officer, and you will also meet the Programme Director and Study Advisor, who will be available to answer your questions during the live Q&A.
