Bite of Science - Ana María Carrillo
When: | Tu 03-06-2025 12:00 - 13:00 |
Where: | Living Lab |
Dear all,
Please be notified that coming Tuesday 3 June at 12:00 (location: Living Lab) we will have another Bite of Science. This time we’ll welcome Ana María Carrillo. Currently finishing her Master in Anthropology at University of Antioquia, she recently published a book in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture in Colombia.
Dedicating many years to walking and talking with peasants and indigenous people in the Andes mountains, the book shares the rural memories and histories of the people that founded the hometown of Ana María: Saravena (Arauca). In fact, many of the people that founded this town in 1960 were interviewed. During this Bite of Science, Ana María will discuss with us how the book was created from both a storytelling- and theoretical analysis perspective.
We hope to see you all there, and don’t forget to bring your own lunch!
