Bike Life
‘When I was a student at the @University of Groningen, I lived at the Trompkade in the Oosterpoort.'
'I cycled to the Geographical Institute in Paddepoel and to the city center on a daily basis. Of course, from time to time the lights on my bike would break, or a flat tire, but there were no major breakdowns. My bike was not that special and (accordingly) rarely stolen. Two times I saw him standing desolate at the Central Station and once at the Academy Building. My bike - an unknown, fantasy brand - is now comfortable and covered in a garage between his new and flashy colleagues. Well deserved. Every now and then I take him out for a short ride.’
