Biography

I was born in the tropical city of Surabaya, Indonesia, in 1993. After completing my Bachelor’s degree in English Literature in Indonesia, I worked at an International Office of an Indonesian university which made me realize that I was keen on expanding my international network. Equipped with some experiences on doing some exchange programs with the American Field Service and Temasek Foundation in my previous years, I tried to apply for a scholarship for a study abroad (again!). I was then granted a full scholarship from the Indonesian Government (LPDP Program: lpdp.kemenkeu.go.id) to pursue my Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics at the University of Groningen in 2019. Wishing to graduate in 2020, I will go back to Indonesia and try to fulfil my ultimate goal to be a lecturer in a higher educational institution. Got questions on how to apply for LPDP scholarship or anything related to my major and the university? How to find a housing and experience a Groninger student life? Send me a message and I will be happy to help!
