About studying in Groningen

Groningen is the city where the world meets. It is characterized by a large international student population who are attracted by the academic excellence and diverse community of the University of Groningen. Besides studying, I had the opportunity to learn from different cultures and make friends from many countries around the world. Each one of my international friends was the ambassador of his/her country and I was able to experience her/his culture by preparing international dinners, travelling together, or having a beer. Besides enriching each other’s lives, I made friends for a life-time. My time in Groningen was definitively one the best experiences in my life. If I had to choose again the location for my master program, I would still choose Groningen!

During her studies, she was awarded the UCLA Undergraduate Research Scholars Scholarship in recognition of her strong commitment to academic research, as well as the completion a comprehensive research project.
