About stuying in Groningen

I began my law studies at the University of Groningen in the Fall 2011. I consider this one of the best choices of my studying career. I feel privileged to be a part of the RUG community and wished to continue cooperation with the University after finishing my studies.

My program was interesting, challenging and very educational. The professors and lecturers were experts in their field, furthermore they were easily accessible which supported the whole studying experience. Having been able to travel in the Netherlands I can say without a doubt that Groningen is one of the best cities in the country. The people are extremely friendly and full of life, which influences everyone who visits the city. Everything is close by or just a bike ride away. Besides the people and the atmosphere one of the best things in Groningen is the sport facilities at ACLO. Whether you are a beginner or a champion in sports, you can find new options and fun possibilities to try out.

I would love to be able to help potential students to find their field of interest at the RUG. Based on my own experience, the RUG is a University I would definitely recommend to someone who wants professional knowledge in their field and a fun and interesting student life.
