The University of Groningen welcomes undergraduate students who are interested in a one-year exchange at one of our four participating faculties:
- Faculty of Science and Engineering
- Medical Sciences
- Spatial Sciences
Please note that only programs prioritized by the Brazilian government may participate in SwB!
Please consult the page of each available program within SwB for specific requirements. In order to start their exchange in September 2015, all undergraduate students should submit their documentation by 28 February 2015 at the latest. Please note however that individual faculties may apply a different (earlier) deadline. In any case, you should always follow the instructions of the faculty coordinator.
In the Netherlands, an undergraduate (bachelor) programme at a research university takes three years. Master programmes usually take one or two years, two in case of research masters. The only exception to this is the medical curriculum that is divided up into a three-year bachelor and three-year master programme.
We are aware that in Brazil undergraduate programmes last in any case four but often five years, or even six in case of medical students. We therefore offer the opportunity to advanced undergraduate students to enrol in some of the English-language master courses. Admission to these courses nevertheless is highly selective, and please check each programme’s requirements in case you are interested. In case of doubts, please contact: email@example.com
