Leadership plays a central role in various ways during a professional career. It is therefore not surprising that increasing attention is being paid to sustainable, responsible and new forms of leadership.
Being a young, female colleague in a management position, Wietske Degen, head of the Sustainable Consortia & Alliances domain within University Services (and perhaps more importantly a proud former active member of YoungRUG) will be the key-note speaker during the next Career Development Event on Tuesday 7 November.
Wietske will be talking about the road to her current role and her experiences in this position. By providing tips on how to overcome challenges in your career, she will try to inspire young colleagues to take the step towards leading roles early in their careers.
