Study on the move
Christiaan Triebert recently hitch-hiked from Groningen to Cape Town. The University of Groningen student of International Relations and International Organization made the trip with two other students, as part of Thumbs Up Africa. The project hopes to attract attention to problems in Africa and to assess sustainability and the results of development work. For Christiaan, the trip dovetailed perfectly with his degree programme.
The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
