For Infinity: Ubbo Emmius

The University of Groningen is celebrating its 400th anniversary in 2014 with a festive programme from 15 May until 15 June, with as theme For Infinity (400). What is it that makes the University what it is today: a teaching and research institution of stature? Which people, ideas and events in the past played a role? Someone who should certainly be remembered is Ubbo Emmius.
