Dining for charity
The ‘Happietaria’ is a temporary restaurant intended to raise money for charity. Hundreds of students have volunteered as chefs, waiters and waitresses, or are doing the dishes to help out. The restaurant’s profits will go to projects in developing countries. The Happietaria is organized by six Protestant student associations, ATV, C.S.F.R., GSV, HOST, Ichthus and N.S.G. The 19th edition of Happietaria Groningen runs from 22 November to 20 December. You can find the restaurant at Kreupelstraat 8.
The weekly online video magazine Unifocus highlights topics related to the University of Groningen in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
