Energy Academy Europe to provide education in Mozambique
Mozambique has gas fields off its coast, as well as huge potential for sustainable energy resources such as biomass, solar and wind power. However, it does not have sufficient expertise to develop these promising energy resources. In the next four years, the University of Groningen and the Energy Academy Europe, along with other parties, will help strengthen Mozambique’s knowledge infrastructure in the field of energy by setting up degree programmes at Mozambican knowledge institutes and by training staff.
